Video ad: same prompt, different AI
Task: A short product video ad shot. Below is the same job written the way each tool works best. All prompts are RuleStack originals (MIT). We describe how prompting differs, not which tool is "best": we haven't run benchmarks, and results change with every model update.

Google Veo
Veo can generate audio, so describe sound and music in the prompt.
An 8-second commercial shot: [product] rotating slowly on a pedestal in a bright minimalist studio, camera slowly dollies in, soft rim light, gentle upbeat background music, a quiet "whoosh" as the logo-free product comes into focus. Cinematic, clean, premium.Kling
Kling responds well to separate subject, motion and style lines.
Subject: [product] on a marble countertop. Motion: camera orbits 90 degrees around the product while morning light sweeps across it. Style: premium commercial, shallow depth of field. Duration: 5 seconds. Keep the product shape consistent throughout.Runway
Runway prompts work best focused on camera motion and visual style; start from an image of your product for consistency.
Slow push-in on [product] on a wooden table, warm window light, dust particles in the air, product label sharp, background softly blurred. Smooth, steady camera.Luma Ray
Luma is good at fluid physical motion; describe the movement clearly.
A cinematic close-up of [product] as water droplets slide down its surface, slow motion, studio lighting with a dark background, camera tilting up slowly to reveal the full product.Pika
Pika suits playful, short social clips.
[product] spins into frame and lands on a colorful pastel background with a playful bounce, confetti falling, bright and fun social-media style, 3 seconds. How they differ
- Video models want one clear shot per prompt: subject, motion, camera and style. Edit multiple shots together afterward.
- Only some tools generate audio; check before writing sound cues.
- For brand consistency, start from an image of your actual product where the tool supports image-to-video.
